WE HELP PEOPLE FIND YOU
Dolores Visitor Center – We serve thousands of visitors and “part-time” residents (our expansive RV community) every year, and we want to send them to you! We will display your advertising materials at our Visitor Center, and we include your logo on our in-house digital display. We will always refer our Chamber Partners FIRST.
Web Site – Doloreschamber.com is the primary online resource for information about Dolores and the surrounding area, and many visitors use it to plan their trips and extended stays. Our online business directory is the most visited page on our site, and includes links to your web site and any social media channels you manage!
Social Media—We have a wide reach and we are active on social media! We manage two Facebook pages that have an audience of nearly 2,000 visitors and residents! We will share relevant posts about specials, events, and news about your business.
WE KEEP YOU INFORMED
Partnerships - We work with other community entities to stay informed of any activity that may impact you or our community.
News - We promote YOU, our partners, to our extensive network of other partners and community members. And we let you know what's happening in the community and surrounding areas. We keep you informed on local events, and news articles through our Facebook Page.
Advocacy - Our Chamber Manager is always keeping an eye on what’s happening in city, county and state government affairs, grant programs, special offers, programs, and changes in legislation that may affect businesses. If you have a concern, let us know, and we can work on your behalf or send you in the right direction.
WE PROMOTE THE AREA
Marketing - We work with Mesa Verde Country® to send our brochures to thousands of interested visitors each year. We also distribute this brochure to strategic locations throughout the Four Corners that attract area visitors. We help people Discover Dolores on social media (Facebook and Pinterest). We work with local journalists on article ideas, promoting special events, and giving an overview of where things are happening in town.
